polyml software package provides interpreter and interactive compiler for the Standard ML programming language, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install polyml
polyml is installed in your system.
Make ensure the polyml package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep polyml *
You will get with polyml package name, version, architecture and description in a table
